A TV Theme at 17
I became a professional writer/artist/producer at age 17, when I wrote a nationally syndicated theme song. That was a kickstart to a varied and good career. Classically trained on piano, as a young teen, I rebelled and got into jazz, RnB and black gospel - picking up bass and guitar along the way. I'm a MIDI whiz and expert in computer music and digital audio.

1988-2005. Jingles. Ad Agencies. Broadcast.
When it comes to musical styles, survival in the business taught me how to be versatile - but my heart beats for soul, pop, RnB and orchestral. I've worked for ad agencies, record labels, publishers, other music producers, and countless indie and label artists from coast to coast.

2005. Please No More. Changing It Up.
Around 2005 or so, I got burned out producing music for everyone else but me. I was “out of love” with music. So in 2006, I started to move towards website development and have built an entirely new career helping individuals and organizations of all shapes, sizes and budgets with websites, branding, video, SEO, strategy and everything else online. I like it as much as music. Check it out at Amplify Creative Strategies and Little Bit of Tech and get to know more about me at RizzoCreates.com

NEWS

2024
Hmm… somehow with zero effort, I've played a little gig, wrote a New Orleans “funeral dirge” for a podcast and I have a monthly soul-jazz piano-singing gig at the restaurant my son works at. Even more interesting, I'm actually feeling like producing some music again. And I have plenty to choose from - hundreds of ideas I've recorded when they happen.

2022
Happy to be back in Philly.

2020-2022
My wife and I traveled around the country and lived in ABB's.

2018
Back in 2017 I got a grand and yup, my chops are gettin' better. I can play a “stride-like” style to almost any song now. I always wanted to do this.
