SCORING : "Looooong pieces of music that are timed to visual moments in a complimentary manner." This is what the backbone of scoring is. From 3D animations to corporate promos to MTV comedy sketch shows, I've done a ton of it. Here are just a few selections you can sample.

  • ANGEL WARS : "Prevail's Wisdom"

    This is one of my personal favorites as a composer. The scene shows an archangel who looks like an oriental monk and he imparts wisdom to a young student on the power of the unseen spiritual world.

  • DODGE CITY : End Showdown ~ 6min"

    Director Read Ridley made what he called a "spaghetto western". It was like Shaft meets The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. Isaac Hayes actually had a cameo. This que goes from an "in the street showdown" to a sentimental touching close over credits. The real percussion by Jim Roberts added a fantastic touch.

    I scored this piece for a sketch on MTV's "Nick Cannon's Short Circuit". Sort of bland without watching the accompanying video but such is the life of the scored piece of music!

  • BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER "Stay In Tune"

    This is a good example of how I often get pulled in beyond just writing the music. On this spot I devised the concept, wrote the copy and cut the VO - as well as the music of course.
